02:10 am - Johnny 316

A modernized version of Oscar Wilde’s ‘Salome”, JOHNNY 316, directed by Erick Ifergan, unfurls in the boulevards of Hollywood, California. Vincent Gallo plays a penniless street preacher named Johnny who is "married to God" and who spends his days giving out pamphlets and spreading the word of God. One day, he meets Sarah, played by Nina Brosh, a beautiful bereft hairdresser who lost her job. For Sarah, it is love at first sight. She follows the preacher home and tries to seduce him.

Despite his deep attraction to her, he pushes her away. Oblivious to his rejection, Sarah continues to pursue the preacher, convinced that she can win him over. Poetic and violent, this impossible love story explores the themes of spirituality, intimacy and loss, set against the backdrop of the harsh unforgiving reality of the streets.

Using the lo-fi, washed out style common to Gallo's own flicks, this violent and erotic film is sure to induce love/hate reactions.

10:22 pm - [The voice of the flame]

Yesterday I got an email from a wonderful friend Tony from Portishead who reported me that he got home after doing two shows with Portishead and both shows were fantastic. They are coming back to their activity soon with their 3rd long-awaited record. I am very excited to meet them next year.

…Your softly spoken words release my whole desire…Undenied…totally…

Absolutely nothing can be compared with Beth’s singing, nothing absolutely. She's a voice of a shivery flame, beautiful and lonely on the wind.

photography by lovely di [at] luganski.com

"This guy is the maximum! Berlin based NAMOSH is hyperactive, incredibly sincere and talented musician-entertainer with a hard rocking, crawling, dancing, stage-diving energy flash who combines wildest Berlin Electro Rock with a mad singing, rapping, preaching, screaming voice and a fat, funky beat. Outstanding and unique, Namosh conquered the Berlin scene by storm in the past two years and is ready to go with his first album Moccatongue all over our green planet. Expect nothing less than the completely unexpected! It's totally unique. Hard to believe? Come to see."

we are on the road.

01:43 am - For changing lines I’ve got no time tonight…..
Hello dear ones,

I know there might be some of you who still keep eyes on my diary. Well, It’s been a while, since the last time I have appeared here. There are so much things currently happening in my life. One of them, the summer is getting closer to its end.

Here go my snippets.

America is not bad at all, especially when one of your best friends, an American political journalist claims : “It’s shite, it’s completely full of retarded people who made me want to leave this country” and the second friend of mine is currently hanging out at LA, just spends his vacation in the place that sometimes I see in my dreams…well, the third one, he’s sitting on his plane at the moment, leaving to UK to play a few shows for more than 20,000 pairs of eyes that some of them could be yours, who knows. The others ones are lost in different parts of our lovely green planet. Having friends is probably the best things that we can have and can be rewarded of in our life. All you need, you can get from them. A lot of my friends are far away at the moment and change their whereabouts every night. And sadly, most of them can be only reached by any non-verbal ways – text messages, numerous emails..this is internet….and they can rarely be hugged. It’s not good at all.

I am utterly at a loss when somebody gives me a quick question like : "Who's Putin, is he good or bad?" - I have been asked a thousand times - and I used to say that Putin is the good, the bad and the queen. No jokes unless you really know who Mr. Putin is.

“It doesn’t matter what type of Russian visa you have got, you have been given it for free, absolutely”. If I wasn’t so terse, you would probably know more why Morrissey is a bad person that hates to play at the venues which used to be slaughter houses in the past and how to completely stop drinking alcohol after being a responsible tour-manager for The Pogues, the main word here is ‘responsibility’, correct.

Just for the record, there was something in the air that inspired me to write something what you have just read, in fact I am always used to do different things in my life being inspired by that something...it can be different from time to time, but I am always fascinated by the things which are around me. That's it.

I hope that your life is treating you well.

Lots of love,
Current Mood: just briming with thoughts
Current Music: time tonight

06:51 pm - Tangled up in music
"At the end of the day, when I sit down after doing everything that I need to do for the day, and I sit there in front of my speakers, and I listen to some beautiful music, it puts everything in place, and I feel like the whole world is perfect. That is not stupid. That is the most important part of my day. It doesn't matter what I've accomplished that day or, shit, how much money I've made that day, or anything like that doesn't mean anything. What matters is at the end of the day where I can sit there, put on a Velvet Underground record, and the world is perfect, nothing is wrong with it. Everything is exactly the way it is supposed to be. That's how I feel when I hear music, and that's how it's been my whole life."

John Frusciante is a person to be remembered at these days as the days filled with love and music from the hearts for living in peace and harmony with the world around us, simply this is what we need to have to achieve the life’s success.
